美国德州农工大学J.A. Caton教授将于5月16日-19日期间进行四场学术报告，同时分别在燃烧、控制、振动噪声和排放控制四个方向与我院教师进行研讨，诚邀有兴趣的老师和学生参加。
J.A. Caton教授是美国德州农工大学Gulf Oil／Thomas A. Dietz冠名教授，国际汽车工程师学会会士，主要从事内燃机、内燃机及燃烧过程建模、排放控制、余热利用、替代燃料、联合循环等方面的研究，研究覆盖热力学、传热学、流体力学、基础与应用燃烧学等领域。重点研究内燃机燃烧过程的热力学机理和优化，他于2015年提出的内燃机燃烧过程中㶲的变化规律受到内燃机研究者的广泛关注。
